Copyright and takedown policy
Last updated August 14, 2026
The current release does not host user-submitted photographs or reports. Its obstruction examples and placards are generated educational illustrations, not documentary images.
Respect for rights
Do not copy, upload, or distribute material unless you hold the necessary rights and your use complies with privacy, publicity, and other applicable laws. Public visibility does not automatically make an image free to publish.
Current notice channel
Send copyright or takedown notices to legal@showyourplates.com. Include identification of the work, the material at issue, your contact information, a good-faith statement, and a statement of accuracy and authority. Do not send incident reports or unrelated personal information. This release does not accept user content.
Future hosting requirements
Before enabling uploads, the project must designate and register a DMCA agent if applicable, document repeat-infringer and counter-notice procedures, respond expeditiously to valid notices, and preserve a correction and appeal path.
Government materials and marks
Links to government sources do not imply endorsement. Government seals, agency logos, and official plate designs are not used to suggest affiliation. State names and citations appear solely to identify jurisdictions and source law.
